The Specialized Utilities Service Program (SUSP) is hiring a SUSP Technical Field Specialist to provide support to daily operations to water distribution and treatment systems in the Jacumba Community Service District (JCSD)/ Descanso Community Water District (DCWD).
This role involves system monitoring, routine water sampling, basic maintenance, and responding to on-call or emergency needs. You’ll report to the SUSP Manager or supervising operator.
Key duties include routine system checks, equipment maintenance, leak repairs, meter reading, landscaping, and more. Must be available for emergency and on-call duties. Occasional travel required. This is a hands-on technical role.
